Stella Myraf explores performative methods as

spatial practices, working at the intersection of

scenography and choreography. By understanding

the body as a sculptural scenic element, the artist

questions how spaces carry socio-political and

historical meaning and adapts gestures to negotiate

spatial narratives. Through movement research and

the translation of choreographic content, Stella Myraf

inscribes new, ‘soft’ resistances into built

environments and uses choreography as a tool for

artistic and political action.
